Áo dài – Lunar New Year 2016

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!

That’s how you say Happy New Year in Vietnamese. Fashion-wise, there is nothing I love more than Vietnamese traditional costume. Every time I go back to Vietnam, I take the chance to have a new áo dài (aw-zai) made. It can be worn in many occasions from daily activities to wedding ceremonies. Students wear white ao dai to school and public companies have it as uniforms. Living faraway from home, I don’t have many chances to don my little masterpieces that I treasure so much. Therefore, this Lunar New Year, my friends and I decided to wear our favorite costumes to celebrating Spring! Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous Year of the Monkey! Love and sunshine, xxx Hang
