Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!
That’s how you say Happy New Year in Vietnamese. Fashion-wise, there is nothing I love more than Vietnamese traditional costume. Every time I go back to Vietnam, I take the chance to have a new áo dài (aw-zai) made. It can be worn in many occasions from daily activities to wedding ceremonies. Students wear white ao dai to school and public companies have it as uniforms. Living faraway from home, I don’t have many chances to don my little masterpieces that I treasure so much. Therefore, this Lunar New Year, my friends and I decided to wear our favorite costumes to celebrating Spring! Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous Year of the Monkey! My silk áo dài is the fabulous work of Designer Lê Thanh Phương with hand embroidery from silk threads featuring phoenix, birds and flowers And I got this beautiful bouquet for my coming birthday this month 🙂 Lucky me! Love and sunshine, xxx Hang
